Frequently asked questions

How to order?

Under each title available for order, there is a button “Add to cart”. When you click that button, the book will be added to your cart.

Where is my cart?

Your cart is located in the top right corner. When you click on it, you will be able to see its contents.

How to pay?

Click on the “Check out” button in your cart, located in the top right corner. Selected currency for the payment (selector is located at the top of the page), and the delivery address (not relevant if you are purchasing eBooks). If you haven’t opened an account, do that so you will be able to check out. Here are available ways of payment.

Why I have to register before I can proceed with the check out?

Registration (logging in) is part of the system. We cannot process your order unless we have your basic data (name and surname, e-mail, address). We guarantee security of your personal data with our Privacy policy. If you’d prefer not to read it in whole, the short description is: we will not, under any circumstances nor in any way, share or publish your personal data.

Why these eBooks are so inexpensive?

It is because we want to promote this way of publishing and reading. Since 1998, we have not made a fortune doing this; it is most likely we will not make a fortune in the future as well ☺

What is zip format, how to open it?

Zip format stands for a compressed archive. It can be opened with variety of programs, including free 7zip. After you have downloaded the zip archive containing all three formats of the eBook, unpack it to a location where you can easily find it later (ex. Desktop).

Why the zip archive contains three different formats? Which one should I choose?

The zip archive contains epub, mobi, and azw3; these are three of the most widely used formats. In order to offer you as much flexibility as possible, we grant you with all three formats. Choose the one appropriate for you eReader.

How can I read these eBooks?

There is a myriad of free eReaders:

  • For desktop machines and laptops, we strongly recommend Calibre: it offers the best reading experience of all eReaders we have tested! And we have tested more than few on our machines! Calibre is available for free for Windows (32 and 64 bit), OS X, and Linux. And, it is frequently updated! Download it here:
